Peter Jackson's far reaching revamp of the 1933 fantastic takes after chief Carl Denham (Jack Dark) and his group on a voyage from New York City to the unpropitious Skull Island to film another motion picture. Going with him are writer Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) and on-screen character Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts), who is whisked away by the tremendous gorilla, Kong, after they achieve the island. The team experiences dinosaurs and different animals as they race to protect Ann, while the performing artist frames a bond with her simian captor.
